What it is
Five modules share one risk engine and one stablecoin rail: Maddox Vaults, Hedge Engine, Agentic Desk, Structured Notes, and a prime-style account layer. Cash, collateral, limits, and settlement write to the same ledger.
Built on Circle Arc · Mainnet 16 September 2026
HMaddox is a programmable hedging and adaptive liquidity protocol for treasuries, funds, payment firms, and AI agents. Risk is unpacked, priced, transferred, and settled in USDC — on a chain where finality is a fact, not a probability.
The protocol
Onchain finance already knows how to add leverage. It still struggles to produce a bill a CFO can sign. HMaddox exists to make hedges, idle cash, and agent mandates live in one auditable state machine.

Hedge Markets. High-precision markets. Infrastructure that treats the hedge as a first-class primitive.
Maddox, from Welsh: fortunate son. Durable fortune is not a lucky direction. It is uncertainty unpacked, marked, and sold.
Settlement layer
Arc opened public mainnet on 16 September 2026 with USDC as gas, Malachite BFT finality, EVM compatibility, optional privacy, and a validator set drawn from global financial institutions.
Costs are priced in dollars. Month-end reconciliation does not depend on a speculative gas token.
A hedge that can still be reorganized is only an intention. Arc makes settlement binary: pending or done.
Institutions do not need to vanish. They need graded disclosure: auditable amounts, protected strategy detail.
Stack
Adaptive USDC and EURC containers with hedging constraints. Base liquidity, controlled overlay, and a hedge layer that sends breaches to the engine. Yield without a hidden second book.
Users and agents input a risk state, not a ticker. The engine routes, solves constraints, executes, and writes attribution back to the same account.
Mandates, limits, failure handling, and accounting for software agents. Speed without an unsupervised leverage spiral.
Eligible issuance of settleable structures on stablecoin rails. If the risk engine cannot measure it, it does not ship.
Cash, vault shares, hedges, notes, in-flight funds, agent permissions, and daily quality reports in one view. Finance, trading, compliance, and agents read different skins of the same state.
Audience
Cross-border firms that receive dollars, pay euros, and need next month’s cost locked without a surprise gas bill.
Acquirers managing intraday currency mismatch. Inventory control, not speculation.
Automated commerce that can contract and settle only if limits and reconciliation exist first.
Access
USDC/EURC vaults and standardized FX hedges against corporate cashflows. The first success metric is not TVL. It is ten production treasuries and a reconciliation file a human can read.
